1. When did Jeremiah's ministry take place? (Jeremiah 1:1-3) (see Kings of Israel and Judah)

2. Did God appoint Jeremiah as a prophet before he was even born? (Jeremiah 1:5) (see Prophets)

The Temple 3. How did the people of Judah behave toward God in the time of Jeremiah? (Jeremiah 3:6-13) (see The Ten Commandments and The Ten Commandments Now?)
Note: At the time that this was spoken, the northern kingdom of Israel (the "Lost Ten Tribes") had been destroyed and taken into exile (see Ancient Empires - Assyria). Only the southern kingdom of Judah remained (see Bible History).

4. Were the people of Judah putting their faith in the physical Temple in Jerusalem, while actually turning their backs on God? (Jeremiah 7:1-11)
Note: God allowed the original Temple in Jerusalem to be destroyed because the people began worshipping it, rather than Him (see Temples).

5. Did God use Shiloh as an example of what happens to people who trust in physical Temples and Tabernacles, instead of Him? (Jeremiah 7:12-15)

6. Did the people of Judah also become extremely idolatrous? (Jeremiah 7:30-31) (see Images and Idols)

7. Were they also desecrating The Sabbath? (Jeremiah 17:21-27) (see God's Holy Day and Sun Worship)

8. Was the coming of Jesus Christ prophesied in Jeremiah? (Jeremiah 23:5-6)

9. How long did Jeremiah warn the people of Judah that they would be destroyed if they continued in their unfaithfullness? (Jeremiah 25:3)

10. Did they listen to all of the warnings? (Jeremiah 25:4)

11. Did God then use the Babylonians (see Ancient Empires - Babylon) under King Nebuchadnezzar to conquer them? (Jeremiah 39:1-10) And to destroy the original Temple that had been made into an idol? (Jeremiah 52:13) (see also Temple Mount Treasures)

12. Did God see to it that King Nebuchadnezzar himself ordered that no harm come to His servant Jeremiah? (Jeremiah 39:11-14)
