Words Of Jesus Christ - 5

"Watch and pray [see The Power Of Prayer] so that you do not fall into temptation [see That Old Serpent]. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak." (Matthew 26:41)

Bible "Look, the hour is near, and The Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. Rise, let us go! Here comes My betrayer!" (Matthew 26:45-46) (see What Did Jesus Look Like? and Why Did He Do It?)

"Put your sword back in its place [see Peter and The Sword], for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. Do you think that I cannot call on My Father, and He will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? But how then would The Scriptures [see By The Book] be fulfilled that say it must happen this way?" (Matthew 26:52-54) (see Prophecy)

"Am I leading a rebellion that you have come out with swords and clubs to capture Me?" (Matthew 26:55) (see The Fateful Night and How Did Jesus Christ Die?)

"But I say to all of you: In the future you will see The Son of Man sitting at The Right Hand of The Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven." (Matthew 26:64) (see The Return Of Jesus Christ and When Could It Happen?)

"My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" (Matthew 27:46) (see The Logos and The Messiah)

"Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see Me." (Matthew 28:10) (see The Twelve Apostles)

"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me [see King Of The Mountain]. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations [see Daily Bible Study Around The World], baptizing [see Baptism] them in The Name of The Father and of The Son and of The Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you [see Christian Living]. And surely I will be with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20)
