Inviting The Wrath Of Almighty God
by Wayne Blank
For many in this country, Svend Robinson on TV always seemed cocky to the point of arrogance; his attitude toward Bible-believing people often seemed belligerent and malicious. Last week was a very different, and very pitiful spectacle - he stood before the cameras on national and international TV, a trembling, sobbing 52-year old man, admitting the grand theft of a $50,000 diamond ring (he apparently doesn't like what God has to say about theft either) on Good Friday, that, according to one report, was intended to be an "engagement ring" for his homosexual "fiance" who he met in Cuba. While he did turn himself in, many have wondered if it may have been just in time, or a practical maneuver - security cameras filmed the felony, and security staff identified him 2 days before Robinson's public "confession" in which he claimed that he just "snapped" and took the ring. He also said that he will now take "medical leave" from his responsibilities as a Member of Parliament, and that he will not seek re-election (which is yet to be seen, after his "recovery").
I take no pleasure in seeing what has happened to Mr. Robinson (many others also predicted that God was about to deal with him), except in the sincere hope that he may now realize the gross error of his ways, and that he now wake up and repent and get on God's side, which is always the winning side. The door is still open to him if he truly repents; God may have destroyed his misguided life, but God often does that so that life can begin anew, the right way, God's way.
Opposing God's Word through Bill C-250, or any other Satanic law like it, is inviting the wrath of Almighty God, as I wrote in the study "When Rights Are Wrong" which was published last October, months before Mr. Robinson "snapped," and which I repeat below. Judge for yourself if any of that study was prophetic, and judge for yourself if any of that prophecy was fulfilled by what happened to Mr. Robinson last week.
When "Rights" Are Wrong
I live in a free country. Like all Canadians, as well as all of you who are citizens of other free countries, I can do what I want, go where I want, say what I want, think what I want, and practice my religion any way that I want, all within the legislated parameters of the laws (that, as a law-abiding citizen, I agree with and support) of this nation. Part of the reason that we have that freedom is because, like citizens of all free countries, everyone has specific legal rights that no other citizen may lawfully obstruct or interfere with. Everyone is equal under and before the law. While "minorities" exist here, just as they do in most other countries, they live with the same rights to peace and security as everyone else. Those of us who were fortunate enough to have been born, or who live, in the democratic free countries of this world enjoy these blessings of freedom whenever "rights" are right.
Occasionally, special interest "minority" groups somehow manage to get laws passed that serve them well, but at the unjust expense of the freedom of their fellow citizens who are in the majority. In my opinion, a blatant example of that is a new law in this country, Bill C-250, that was sponsored by a homosexual member of Parliament, that could, in effect, be used to turn parts of the Holy Bible into illegal "hate literature" because God plainly and consistently condemns sodomite behavior.
How far the anti-Bible enforcement of this new law will be interpretted or taken is yet to be seen (if the law survives the Supreme Court challenge to it that will surely come from one of its first victims), however I personally regard it as a serious potential threat to both freedom of speech and freedom of religion in this country. I don't fear it, I fear only Almighty God, and because of that I have no intention of being dictated to, by anyone, ever, about what I can or cannot publish on Daily Bible Study out of The Holy Bible.
I am very concerned however that it has the potential of bringing God's wrath upon any authorities who may find themselves given the task of prosecuting God's people and servants for the "crime" of preaching and teaching nothing more than exactly what the Holy Bible says (if brought to trial, will they be handed a Bible as they enter the witness stand, upon which they will swear to "tell the Truth, the whole Truth, and nothing but the Truth" - and then be prosecuted for actually believing and teaching what that very same Bible says?). God always protects His servants Himself during their time of service to Him (they themselves need not do anything what-so-ever), and knowing that, I would not want to see God's vengeful wrath being brought down upon the Government or the Police of the country that I love. But it will surely happen if that line is crossed.
In fairness to the homosexual member of Parliament, I do agree that homosexuals should not be in any way harmed simply because they are homosexuals. Part of the reason that the homosexual member of Parliament sponsored the law was in response to the beating to death of a young homosexual man by a gang of "homophobic" men (the use of the term "homophobic," meaning "fear of homosexuals," by homosexuals against those who find their unnatural habits repulsive is not accurate; I don't know of anyone in this country who fears homosexuals). Just as God says that sodomy is evil, God also says that it is evil to commit murder, of anyone. Violence, or lethal force, against anyone, is only legally justifiable, in the eyes of God, as a matter of lawful defense.
The greatest irony of this potential gag law (and make no mistake, that is exactly what it's intended to be) is that it does homosexuals themselves tremendous harm. The Holy Bible is not hate literature, it is Truth. The responsibility of God's servants is to preach and teach the Truth, God's Truth, from God's Word, which is exactly what they have always done, and always will do. During the time of the New Testament record, some homosexuals heeded the Word of God, they repented, just as others did of other kinds of grievous sin, and they became true Christians. They couldn't have done that if they never had the opportunity to hear what the Bible actually says because of some law that didn't permit the preaching of the Word of God.
"Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the Kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the Name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-11 KJV)
The Word of God isn't "hate literature," it's love literature for all who repent of evil behavior, in all of its many forms. If you are a homosexual, or a homosexual politician, don't try to put a gag on God's servants, they cannot, and will not, be silenced by anyone. For every one that falls, another will rise with greater power to carry on. God will see to that. Listen to them, and repent of what you yourself know is a very wrong and a very degrading way to live.
The door of salvation is open to everyone who repents, and God's Judgment and the lake of fire awaits all who don't. The choice is yours.
