"He hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him." (Isaiah 53:2 KJV)
A Gentleman, Not A Weakling
Jesus Christ was gentleman who did what He had to do, when He had to do it. He meekly submitted Himself as the Lamb of God, but He did it from a position of great strength.
"Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He shall presently give Me more than twelve legions of angels [see God's Marines]?" (Matthew 26:53 KJV)
A physically-weak man could not have, and a pacifist would not have, single-handedly driven a crowd of men out of the Temple the way the Messiah did:
"And when He had made a scourge of small cords, He drove them all out of the Temple [see "My Father's House"], and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables" (John 2:15 KJV)
When Jesus Christ returns, it will be in a way that many people are not expecting. Their "sweet Jesus" is coming back as a Conquerer:
"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse [see Two Very Different Triumphal Entries]; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war.""His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself. And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His Name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed Him [see What Is Jesus Christ Doing Right Now?] upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, King Of kings, and Lord Of lords" (Revelation 19:11-16 KJV)
"Then shall The Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle. And His feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives [shown in the photograph], which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south." (Zechariah 14:3-4 KJV)
Fact Finder: Jesus Christ is going to return with great power to bring peace on all the earth. What does the Word of God say about how different the world will be then, than now?
