"White as the Light"
The transfiguration event of Jesus Christ was a vision of the future Kingdom of God:
"And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and His face did shine as the sun, and His raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with Him." (Matthew 17:1-3 KJV)
The appearance of Jesus Christ as He was seen by the apostle John at the time John was given to write the Book of Revelation (see also What Does "Apocalypse" Really Mean?):
"His head and His hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and His eyes were as a flame of fire; And His feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and His voice as the sound of many waters." (Revelation 1:14-15 KJV)
Those in the Kingdom of God (see also The City To Come) will be dressed in white:
"After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb." (Revelation 7:9-10 KJV)
