"The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto Him"
In Hebrews 1:1-2 (KJV) were are told, "God, Who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the Prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, Whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by Whom also He made the worlds." God speaking to us through His Son is confirmed in the Book of Revelation since, although The Apostle John recorded it, while a prisoner of the Romans (see Ancient Empires - Rome) on The Island Of Patmos, John was not the author - Jesus Christ was, as God showed Him:
"The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto Him, to show unto His servants things which must shortly come to pass; and He sent and signified it by His angel unto His servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw." (Revelation 1:1-2 KJV)
The Bible, in its entirety, Old Testament and New Testament, could, in a way, be called the "Book of Revelations" because God's Truth is only available from God, and then can only be understood by means of God's Holy Spirit:
"For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but The Spirit Of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which The Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." (1 Corinthians 2:11-14 KJV)
No human mind is capable of finding the Truth of God through carnal thoughts or reasoning alone. If it could, then the famous Greek "thinkers" and philosophers of ancient times, for example (see Paul In Athens), should have easily discovered and been followers of the True God - but instead, relying on their own "great intelligence" only led them deeper into the darkness.
