"They shall beat their swords into plowshares"

For many, The Return Of Jesus Christ seems unnecessary, or irrelevant! After all, if it were true that people "go to heaven" when they die (a man-made doctrine that is not found anywhere in your Bible - see What Happens When You Die? and Where Is Your Soul?), why should Jesus Christ come back down here? And why the plainly-described resurrections of everyone (see When Will You Be Judged?) that has ever lived if they've gone to heaven, as if they've already "got it made"?

What does the pure and sacred Word of God in The Bible actually have to say about it?

"He shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares"

"Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds [see "To Meet The Lord In The Air"], from one end of heaven to the other." (Matthew 24:29-31 KJV)

"And His feet shall stand in that day upon The Mount Of Olives [see also Sodom and Egypt], which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley [see Earthquake!]; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and The Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee." (Zechariah 14:4-5 KJV)

The Kingdom Of God On Earth

"And it shall be in that day, that Living Waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. And The Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and His Name one." (Zechariah 14:8-9 KJV)

"But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of The Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of The Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths: for the Law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of The Lord from Jerusalem.

"And He shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off [see The Coming World Dictator]; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of The Lord of hosts hath spoken it." (Micah 4:1-4 KJV)
