When Will "Hell" Stop Burning?

"For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith The Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. But unto you that fear My Name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith The Lord of hosts. Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel [i.e. the Decalogue at Mount Sinai; see also Physical and Spiritual Israel and Daughter of Zion], with the statutes and judgments. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet [see The Elijahs] before the coming of the great and dreadful day of The Lord: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse." (Malachi 4:1-6 KJV)

After The World Is Purified By Fire, God is Coming To Earth

After The Flood of water that God sent upon the earth to destroy all that was evil, God promised that never again would there be another flood, of water, that will cover all of the earth. But another flood is coming, not of water, but of fire. It will ultimately become a planet-wide ocean of fire (as illustrated) that will purify, but not destroy, the entire earth, once and for all, after all Judgment (see When Will You Be Judged?) has been completed. The only survivors will be those who have been found worthy, by repentance and obedience to God, and made spirit. Here's what The Bible plainly has to say about it:

Earth Flooded With Fire

"Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water [see Hydrogen]: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire [again, see Hydrogen] against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men" (2 Peter 3:3-7 KJV)

"And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." (Revelation 20:12-15 KJV)

What Happens After "Hell" Cools?

The purpose of the Christ is to reconcile sinful humanity to God. When that is fully completed, when the earth and humanity are made pure from anything impure, physical or spiritual, God is coming to earth.

"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven [see The City To Come], prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them [see The Throne Of God, From Heaven To Earth], and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." (Revelation 21:1-4 KJV)
(Note: "His people" in the verse above refers not to mortal, physical people but to those for whom "death shall be no more" i.e. they will at that time have been transformed to spirit)
