Weapons of Mass Deception
by Wayne Blank
"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." (Matthew 7:13-15 KJV)
"And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity"
Jesus Christ was talking to His followers, Christians, when He made the statement quoted in Matthew 7:13-15 above. Jesus Christ wasn't then warning people of other religions; He was warning those who want to be His people against the "false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."
Did most of them listen? Are most Christian-professing people listening now? Not according to Jesus Christ:
"Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them."
As is plainly stated by Jesus Christ in the verses above, many who claim to be Christian will be told by Christ on the Judgment Day, "depart from Me, ye that work iniquity."
How can that be?
It will happen because many of the Christian-professing "churches of this world" do not, as Christ Himself plainly says in the Scriptures, teach what Jesus Christ told His people to believe and do! They have, as Christ described, merely used Christ's Name to do as they please. They have simply put a "Christian" label on their carnal, man-made religious philosophy and are, in doing so, actually leading people away from the Savior.
As such, many of the Christian-professing "churches of this world" have become Satan's weapons of mass deception, according to Christ's own words "for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat."
It may not be too late for most people. If you don't want to be one of the Christian-professing people to whom Jesus Christ says "I never knew you," see the Fact Finder question below.
