1 Plus 1 = 1? 1 divided by 1 = 2?

There is very little controversy regarding the fact that there are Ten Commandments, as the Scriptures make absolutely plain:

"And The Lord said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel. And he was there with The Lord forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments." (Exodus 34:27-28 KJV)

How The Church of Rome Turns 2 Commandments into 1 (1 Plus 1 = 1?)
How The Church of Rome Turns 1 Commandment into 2 (1 divided by 1 = 2?)

There is however disagreement about how God's Ten Commandments are numbered - Jews and (most) Protestants number them the God-intended way, while Roman Catholics and some others number them their own way. The foremost common difference between the two camps seems to be that Jews and (most) Protestants correctly believe that the use of idols has been outlawed by God (as the Ten Commandments should make very plain to anyone who truly wants to obey God), while Roman Catholics and some others believe that God has contradicted Himself and is quite pleased with their praying to, and kneeling before, and bowing down to, the many religious statues and icons in their churches and homes (see also What Would Mary Really Say About Idolatry?).

The Ten Commandments It should be kept in mind that the Ten Commandments were given to the ancient Israelites, not to Roman Catholics who came along many centuries later, and that Jews (who were one of the Twelve Tribes of Israel at Mount Sinai) have never changed the Commandments. This historical fact was plainly stated by the Christian apostle Paul - the Church of Rome has named numerous popes after Paul, and yet they very often completely ignore, or hatefully and violently oppose a great amount of what Paul plainly taught in the New Testament:

"What advantage then hath the Jew? ... Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles [i.e. the Words, the Scriptures - see Which Bible Did Jesus Use?] of God" (Romans 3:1-2 KJV)

The Church of Rome (and some others) combine the first two Commandments into one (in an attempt to make it seem that the use of idols is permitted for the worship of The Lord), and splits the Tenth Commandment into two (making two "thou shalt not covet" commandments, one for people and one for property). They turn Commandments One and Two into their first, the Third into their second, the Fourth into their third, the Fifth into their fourth, the Sixth into their fifth, the Seventh into their sixth, the Eighth into their seventh, the Ninth into their eighth, and the Tenth into their ninth and tenth.

Fact Finder: How else did the Church of Rome "fiddle" with the numbers to hide Biblical Truth? For example, how did the Church of Rome turn Christ's own "3 days and 3 nights" prophecy into just 2 nights and 1 day?
