"Jerusalem, Which Killest The Prophets"Jesus Christ lamented how His future capital city (which He now calls Sodom and Egypt) has rejected their ultimate King (see Israelite Monarchy - The Messiah; also David, Future King Of Israel) and would continue to do so until He returns to rule, not only His city, but all the earth. That's what Zionism genuinely means.
"13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee" Christ's return will happen when the prophesied end-time "abomination of desolation" is fulfilled at Jerusalem (see Abomination of Desolation - Where? and How Long Will 'The End Time' Last?).
"24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, whoso readeth, let him understand: 24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains" (Matthew 24:15-16 KJV) Christ's return will not be in secret. All of humanity, all around the world, will witness His coming to earth. On that day also will be the first resurrection; His people will meet Him in the air (see 'To Meet The Lord In The Air') before descending that same hour with Him to Jerusalem.
"24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Christ's ascension to heaven was from The Mount Of Olives, which will also be "ground zero" for His return.
"14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south." (Zechariah 14:4 KJV) The return of Christ will mark the beginning of the Kingdom of God on earth. The Living Waters that will flow from Jerusalem will be both physical and spiritual (see A Brainwashed World).
"14:8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. 14:9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth [see The Coming World Dictator]: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one." (Zechariah 14:8-9 KJV)
