The Rise Of The Malignant Beast
"They worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him?"
The English word "malignant" is most-often today regarded as a medical term, referring to the spread of an illness, usually cancer. But the ancient origin of the word was political, in that it described an arrogant and corrupt nationalistic system that festered beyond its own lawful borders (see The Boundary Law and When Freedom Crosses The Line), causing a toxic and destructive effect upon more and more other nations until everyone was made sick by it, and made sick of it. While the malignancy of a cancer can today be treated and suppressed, and even cured with ever-more effective treatments (there is genuine reason for hope with that kind of malignancy), political malignancy in the modern world is more uncontrolled and destructive than ever before.
"Malignant" originated from a Latin word, malignaus, which meant to behave with ill will. The English words malice, malicious and malign are merely variants of the word malignant - they all originated from the same word that referred to a Satanic imperialistic attitude of destruction and arrogance.
If cancer was able to speak, its favorite word, its constitution, would be "freedom" - to go, and to grow, anywhere it pleases, and to do whatever it wants to anyone or anything when it gets there. Political malignancy, which was later used to describe the illness known as cancer, is exactly the same. When unopposed, it only stops when it destroys itself, by perverting and destroying everything else in its deviant rampage.
Bible prophecy plainly describes such a malignant end-time "beast" whose people will regard themselves as their own "god," while making a false claim to the Messiah (see Why Call Me, Lord, Lord, and Do Not The Things Which I Say? and Liberty Under God or Liberty Under Satan?). That's why the LORD calls the "beast" antichrist.
The LORD (i.e. Jesus Christ; see The Kingdom Of The LORD God) however is going to be the cure for what ails those of that sickened state of mind. If you are able to "hear" me, you may yet have time to escape the LORD's wrath. According to prophecy, your "leaders" aren't: "The beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone."
The rise of the malignant "beast":
"13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
The false "Christian" religion of the "beast" (see Constantine's Crusades In History And Prophecy):
"13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 13:12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13:13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
The prophet Daniel (see the entire series for the prophet Daniel, beginning with The Prophet Daniel: A Child Of The Exile; the links to the other studies are in that study) was given to see a great amount of detail about the end-time malignant "beast" (see the Fact Finder question below), including the Messiah's annihilation of the "beast" on the day of the Messiah's return.
"2:31 Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. 2:32 This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, 2:33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. 2:34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. 2:35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth." (Daniel 2:31-35 KJV)
The apostle John was given to see the same destruction of the Satanic "beast," including the Messiah's casting of their "leaders" into the lake of fire (see also The Epistles: Revelation and The Seals Of Prophecy).
"19:1 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: 19:2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand." (Revelation 19:1-2 KJV)
