The Greek Alphabet

The New Testament was originally written nearly all in Greek. Below is a chart illustrating the Greek letters, their sounds, and their approximate equivalent in English. It is interesting to note that the first two letters of the Greek alphabet, alpha and beta, are the source for the English word alphabet.
