People To Heaven? Or God To Earth?
by Wayne Blank
"And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven" (John 3:13 KJV)
A vision, from God, of the future earth, as delivered to the apostle John for the Book of Revelation:
"And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God." (Revelation 21:2-3 KJV)
God Is Coming To Earth
The Throne of God is now heaven, or in heaven (i.e. "Do not swear at all, either by heaven, for it is the Throne of God" Matthew 5:34-35, see also How High Is Heaven?), but, someday (for when, see the Fact Finder below) the Throne of God is coming to earth, because, as The Holy Bible plainly says, God is coming to earth.
After all has been completed (i.e. after The Return Of Jesus Christ, after His earthly rule for 1,000 years with The Elect, and after the Judgment and purification of the earth by fire - see Planet On Fire!), the Throne of God is coming to earth with the New Jerusalem:
"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful." (Revelation 21:1-5 KJV)
