Christ's Words In The Psalms

The Psalms are quoted in the New Testament (see New Testament Fact File) more than any other "Old" Testament (see The Older Testament) book. While they are often regarded as beautifully-inspiring songs or poetry, which they are, they are also highly Messianic. Centuries before He was born, the Psalms plainly expressed detailed prophetic knowledge of the coming of Jesus Christ.

"The Lord hath said unto me, Thou art My Son; this day have I begotten Thee"
