Is He Out Of Your Mind?

Those who read, understand and do their very best to live by God's Word are the healthiest, physically and psychologically, people on earth. But in the Satan-deceived world, such as it is right now, evil, lies and hypocrisy are all too often viewed as "normal." The result of that backwards view is that those who actually believe and live by God's Word are often regarded as "strange" by those who have yet to be liberated from the darkness. It has always been that way.

"5:26 And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day." (Luke 5:26 KJV)

"17:18 Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of the Stoicks, encountered him. And some said, What will this babbler say? Other some, He seemeth to be a setter forth of strange gods: because he preached unto them Jesus, and the Resurrection." (Acts 17:18 KJV)

"11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were Strangers And Pilgrims on the earth." (Hebrews 11:13 KJV)

"2:11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; 2:12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works [see Works Means Obedience], which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation." (1 Peter 2:11-12 KJV)

"4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; 4:2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. 4:3 For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in Lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: 4:4 Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you." (1 Peter 4:1-4 KJV)

Sometimes, the deceived world will even accuse God's people of being "out of their mind" - just as they blasphemously said of The Messiah.

"3:21 And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself." (Mark 3:21 KJV)

Satan Is "Out Of Their Minds"

The reality of the matter however is that God's people aren't "out of their minds" - but rather they have put Satan out of their minds. The righteous are in their right-eous minds, by means of the Holy Spirit of God. They are no longer among those who Satan "hath blinded the minds of them which believe not."

The Holy Scriptures

"4:3 But if our gospel [see The Gospel of The Kingdom of God] be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

4:5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." (2 Corinthians 4:3-6 KJV)

Humanity has been in need of getting Satan "out of their minds" right from the Garden of Eden, "as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted."

"11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety [listen to our Sermon The Eve Of Destruction], so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ." (2 Corinthians 11:1-3 KJV)

A Satan-influenced mind is made evident by the behavior of the one afflicted.

"6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; 6:4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife [see Striving For Strife], railings, evil surmisings, 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain." (1 Timothy 6:3-6 KJV)

What's the cure?

"10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for he is faithful that promised; 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works" (Hebrews 10:22-24 KJV)
